On the heels of the Hotel LBI project, Mercer Management once again engaged Stout & Caldwell to provide comprehensive civil engineering, surveying and planning services for the development of the newest Jersey Shore attraction. The project specifically included conceptual and major site plans plus boundary, topographic, utilities and highway surveys. A number of environmental disciplines were also required from an Environmental Impact Statement, storm water design and soil testing to wetlands analysis, flood zone classification and a Coastal Area Facility Review. Working with partner Dolan & Dean Traffic Engineers, the firm conducts a traffic study and parking lot design. The result – Mainland Adventure Park, which is located on 5.8 acres in Manahawkin and minutes from the causeway to Long Beach Island, features unlimited fun with 4 extended zip line aerial course, go karts and a 50’ climbing wall to name a few.
