When the current owners of Hawk Island Marina purchased the site, they engaged Stout & Caldwell Engineers, LLC in the multi-phase project to assist with the redevelopment of docks, boathouse, slips, parking and overall facility. The firm created overall development schematic to include a boundary & topographic survey, utility survey, hydrologic analysis, flood plain elevation evaluation and overall site plan. The Stout & Caldwell project team worked hand-in-hand with the owners, who are both deep-seeded in the community and long-time marina patrons, and supported their goal to expand upon the existing site, incorporate sound environmnetal policies, maintaining the eco-system and provide safe, fun and positive recreation experiences.
