When it came time for Novacart Inc. to expand and select South Jersey for its new facility, Stout & Caldwell was engaged to provide comprehensive civil engineering, environmental and surveying services for the 5.68-acre site at 2001 U.S. Route 130 North n Florence Township. The six-person team developed conceptual and major site plans along with a full spectrum of surveys, including boundary, topographic, highway, utilities and ALTA surveys which were used for planning board and various permitting requirements. Additionally, the firm conducted an environmental impact statement and analysis, storm water design and groundwater/soil testing. Working hand-in-hand with partners, such as Stropshire Traffic Engineering, Stout & Caldwell provided auto-turn analysis and parking lot design plus assisted with landscape planning. The newly constructed, approximately 71,280-square-foot building is more than beautification of a blighted site but one offering job creation, increased traffic safety and economic development for New Jersey.  READ MORE
